Translated from the original Norwegian, this play is one of the supreme classics of Western theatre. Nora Helmer is the naïve wfe of Torvald, who has recently acquired a new job after a long illness. In a world where women are not allowed to borrow money without the approval of her husband, Nora secretly obtained money in order to help her husband, without his knowledge. But, now the solicitor who helped her obtain the money, Nils Krogstad, is blackmailing her in order to obtain a promotion that her husband can now give him as he is his new boss. The secrets that Nora has accrued threaten to change her life forever and rock the foundation on which her house is built.
